About Me
Hi everyone,
My name is Sean Williams. I live in Hamilton, New Zealand.
The photo to the right is of me and my beautiful girl Katie.
One of my biggest passions in life is soaring down a wide open plain on my snowboard.
I first touched snow when I was about 8 years old. That would have been 1992. I loved being on the snow immediately.
At first I learnt to ski, and then when I was approximately 13 years old I begun learning to Snowboard.
And the passion I have for it has always seemed to have stuck. During the University days, I spent many days flagging the lectures so that I could take off to the mountain with my friends.
One of my dreams in life is to own a house in the South Island of New Zealand, close to some of the main ski fields down there such as Cardrona and Treble Cone.
I work with computers for a living – and am very much a true Geek. I spend most days visiting people in their homes, fixing nagging computer problems that they have.
That is how the name ‘SnowGeek’ came about. I am a computer geek through and through, but I also LOVE my snowboarding.
I hope you find SnowGeek.co.nz helpful, interesting and that you can take something valuable away from it.
If you have ANY questions at all – don’t hesistate to give me a shout. I am very knowledgeable about the New Zealand ski industry.
You can contact me on sean@snowgeek.co.nz
Look forward to hearing from you soon!
Sean
